By accessing or using the HVAC Directory website, mobile application, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including customers, contractors, and visitors.

2. Our Services

HVAC Directory provides a platform that connects customers with verified HVAC service providers. Our services include:

• Directory listing of HVAC contractors
• Booking and scheduling of service appointments
• Payment processing for services
• Customer reviews and ratings
• Customer support and dispute resolution

3. User Accounts

Account Registration:

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Responsibility:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Account Eligibility:

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Contractor Terms

Verification:

Contractors must complete verification including license validation, background check, and skill assessment before listing on our platform.

Service Quality:

Contractors agree to provide professional, high-quality services in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

Insurance & Licensing:

Contractors must maintain valid licenses, permits, and insurance as required by applicable laws.

Fees:

Contractors agree to pay platform fees as specified in their separate agreement. Fee structures may be updated with prior notice.

5. Booking & Payments

Service Requests:

When you book a service, you agree to pay the quoted price. Final charges may vary based on actual service provided.

Payment Processing:

All payments are processed securely through our platform. We accept various payment methods including cards, UPI, and digital wallets.

Pricing:

Prices displayed are estimates. Final charges will be confirmed before service completion. Any additional charges must be approved by you.

Deposits:

Some services may require an advance deposit. Deposit terms will be disclosed before booking.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer Cancellations:

• Free cancellation up to 2 hours before scheduled service
• Cancellation within 2 hours: 50% of service fee may apply
• No-show: Full service fee may be charged

Contractor Cancellations:

If a contractor cancels, you will receive a full refund. We will help you find an alternative contractor.

Refunds:

Refunds for unsatisfactory service are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team within 24 hours of service completion.

Dispute Resolution:

We facilitate dispute resolution between customers and contractors. Our decision is final and binding for platform-related disputes.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Manipulate ratings or reviews
• Attempt to bypass platform fees by contracting directly
• Share account credentials with others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the platform
• Scrape or copy content without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the HVAC Directory platform including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software is our property or licensed to us and protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Contractors retain ownership of their business information and photos but grant us a license to display them on our platform.

9. Disclaimers

Your use of our services is at your sole risk. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from using the platform will be accurate or reliable
• Contractor work will meet your expectations

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by contractors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HVAC Directory and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HVAC Directory and its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these terms
• Your use of our services
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Disputes between you and contractors

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately without prior notice for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or website notice.

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using our services.
